'Die Goldenen Regeln - bei der Erstellung von QR-Codes

1) QR codes can be created for free
for example onhttp://goqr.me

2) avoid unnecessary data
The less data needs to be encoded, the better the QR code can be reduced in size. for example by using short address.

3) Do not make it too small
The smaller the QR-code is, the harder smartphone cameras can scan the QR-code.

4) leave a small border around the QR code (quiet zone)
To make the QR-Code easier to scan, it has to be bordered with a white border 2-3 pixel in width.

5) determine appropriate fault tolerance
There are 4 different fault tolerance levels (L, M, Q, H). The higher the level, the more data can be recovered if the QR code has been damaged or soiled. L = 7% and H = 30%. The higher the level, the more data must be coded and the greater the QR-code needs to be created.

6) Use any color or logo
Also the QR codes can be customized with their own colors or logos. However, there must be a contrast-difference between the individual blocks.

7) Avoid damage
Avoid kinking or tearing the QR-codes. If any of the three alignment marks is missing, the QR code cannot be scanned.

8) test QR-code
Before the QR code is printed on the carrier material, it should definitely be tested whether the corresponding reference and data are correct.

9) Use Datamatrix-Codes on round objects
Before the QR code is printed on the carrier material, it should definitely be tested whether the corresponding reference and data are correct.
